Title: Your Heart Counts! Precision Cardiovascular Health in a Digital World

Description: In this talk, Dr Ashley will describe how to leverage digital tools to address cardiovascular disease, the most common cause of death in both the developed and the developing world. Through his team at Stanford and through collaborations with industry, including tech companies like Apple and Google, and government agencies including FDA, his team has worked to define quality standards for digital health and wearable devices, advance deep learning architectures for real time analysis of sensor data, and carry out entirely digital randomized controlled trials. In this talk, he will describe this work and look to the future potential of digital technology for the early detection of disease more broadly.
